Find friends app iphone

To track my dd if necessary with her permission. She also has the app on the iPad. The problem that we are having is that when I track her it only tracks the iPad which is always at our home address. Her iPad and iPhone are synced so not sure if that is causing a problem. Just wondered if anyone can advice me on how to get it to track the phone. The phone is enabled and she hasn’t at all rejected it. Just can’t figure it out!

Yes it is. I don’t know how to stop it tracking the iPad and track the phone instead!

Try adding her on find friends by her phone number rather than the email address registered to her Apple account. When I track my DD it shows the iPad at home and her mobile.

Find iPhone might be better if you can't get this sorted. You just need her Apple account details.

We use find my iPhone as we’re all set up in a family ‘thing’ - the dc know and can track us too. Might that be better? It shows each device separately.

Find my friends just open the app on her phone or iPad. Tap the “me” bit at the bottom and select which device you want to share the location from.
