Chopping fruit

Helpmedecide123 · 17/03/2019 20:42

Boring first world problem I know, but are there any short cuts for chopping fruit? My family (DH and 3 DC ages 7, 4 and 2) will not eat fruit unless it's chopped up fruit salad style.

It. Takes. Forever.

And yes DH does his share!

Anyone found any nifty gadgets or short cuts for chopping up hundreds of grapes etc?

I haven't tried it myself but there's this technique for grapes(and cherry tomatoes)

I found that by gradually going bigger they accepted it more- go from cubed apply, to large chunks then slices, for example. Not ideal, but a bit of a shortcut! It’ll pass!

I have seen apple slicers/corers, but never used one so no idea if they are any good.
I buy ready chopped pineapple and mango.
