Has anyone used a European Interrail ticket?

There's a lot of options on the website - I'm thinking of going to Paris and Brussels this spring and further across Europe later in the autumn.

They seem good value and I'd rather this than the carbon impact of flying. It's just me, no kids in tow.
Has anyone tried it recently?

20 odd years ago, I don't know if much has changed. We went all over Europe for a month. It was brilliant.

Price it against buying the trains individually as they aren't the good value they once. My friend used to do it each summer but now books directly with each rain company - it helps that he speaks French and German fluently!

Yes I last did it thirty years ago and I bet it's not as good value as it was then!

I did it 30 years ago and it was great value, we could go on most of the any time and went all over Europe, some cities we only stayed in for one day! However, my DS did it last year and because they only went to 4 countries and stayed a few days in each, it would have been a similar price to book individual tickets, so do your homework before you buy.

Four years ago.
We did Amsterdam to Thessaloniki stopping off at a few countries and on a sleeper twice.
Bargain, bargain, bargain.
When I'm recovered I'm going again, best road trip I've ever had.
