Paulton’s Park advice

We’re thinking of visiting Paulton’s Park in the next few months. Been a couple of times at Christmas and the kids loved it.

Wondered if any frequent visitors had a view on whether it was better to go during the Easter holidays or at a weekend? Term-time trips are not possible due to school and there’s no upcoming inset days we could use.

Thanks!

Get there as early as you can.
Head straight for peppa pig world and do the 2 rides they REALLY want to do. Then go back later in the day to do the others when it’s calmed down.
Avoid the helicopter one like the plague as the queue is the slowest in the world.
Try to not get fed up because the kids want to spend the rest of the day playing in the swing park that is exactly like the one at the bottom of your road that you go to for free every weekend (or maybe that’s just our kids)!

I expect it will be busy over Easter as much as the weekend, so go for the day that suits you with the best weather. There will be queues either way!

Love Paulton's Park! Unless they are very into Peppa Pig, I would focus on the rest of the park. There are other rides suitable for little ones and lots for older ones. Queues are crazy for Peppa Pig world and barely there for the bigger, better rides. Last year we went with DS age 9 at May half term and he and his friends were riding twice in a row on some rides. We have been about 10 times or possibly more over the past 5 or 6 years, always in the holidays or weekends, and have never waited more than 30 minutes for a ride. Compared to a hellish minimum hours wait for every ride at Chessington or Legoland I'm happy with Paulton's Park! Peppa pig world is a different story though....Grin
