Anyone been to Primark recently?

I need to get some skinny jeans for my very skinny and not so skinny ten year olds, and a short 7 year old Grin

Does anyone know what the Primark ones are like? I don’t really want to brave the shop if I don’t have to but I’d also rather get them a couple of pairs each than the one I can afford from Next (the super skinnies I think).

Soz for the boring topic!

Always get DD (12) Primark jeans. They have tonnes of styles and are fab prices. It’s best place imo. We buy ladies size 4,6 or 8 depending on fit.

My girls are both tall and skinny and I get them primark jeans. The child section goes up to age 15 . They are cheap too.
They have adjustable waists which is great and also they wash well.

Brill thanks. That’s enough to think it’ll probably be worth a punt!

I bought my DS black jeans / grey jeans from Primark (not blue denims , didn't have any that weren't ripped or dodgy coloured stitching)

They were fine, fit well, washed well.

He;s too tall now , I have to buy his from H&M for length.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/03/2019 22:23

I see you're looking for skinny jeans - my DS is 5'10" and fits a 26" waist after a huge meal and pokes his belly out ,Grin

The skinny ones looked like he was wearing drinking straws on his bony little limbs . He prefers the slim

Well we decided to mooch round the local shops today as they’re not too busy and we can walk to them.

This is the skinny one trying on H&M super skinny jeans Grin. I suspect age 8 or nine might be ok....

My super skinny Ds1 is 11 and I get him 9-10 sized trousers from Primark and H&M. We rely on adjustable waists, but often they gather so much material that they look crap... Good luck, trousers shopping is a nightmare!

FamilyOfAliens · 17/03/2019 14:12

You did Primark and H&M in one shopping trip, OP?

I salute your bravery Grin

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 17/03/2019 14:31

Oh no, Primark needs more gearing up to it - I’ll do that next week! There’s a small H&M on a retail park near me so I don’t need to go all the way into town for it like Primark.

Phew, you had me going there!

Gap jeans are the best for skinny kids, i get them from the gap outlet usually about £12 a pair

RomanyQueen1 · 17/03/2019 15:25

I just went today, they have lots of skinny jeans and the sizing is so much better now.
They had nice ones in H&M too, as well as the new utility stuff which I went a bit mad on Grin
New look jeans are good in blue but the black doesn't stay for long and soon washes out.
