Advice on relocating

Hello!

So DH and I are thinking about relocating at the moment it's all a bit 'pie in the sky'.

Where do we start? We know the area we want to move to and have checked the ofsted reports on local schools.

But what order we do things in??

Sell the house?
View houses?
Get a job?
Get a place in nursery/preschool?

My head is spinning with it all!

We relocated just over 300 miles. We were in the position of being able to keep our house in our home town ,but rent in our new location. My dh had already gained a job in the new area. Then once we were sure we'd made the right decision we sold out house to buy here. Interestly, it was not in the town we thought we would settle but about 7/8 miles away.

I would have thought the first thing (unless you have some kind of huge trust fund or savings account) would have to be getting a job in the area you want to move to.
I would be looking at houses on line, certainly, to ascertain that I could afford what I wnated in the new area.
Then you need to sell your house.
The Nursery place would be the last thing (once you've moved)
