Work, volunteer, study, watch tv... repeat. Is there more?!

Having an existential crisis.
My life has gotten so monotonous over the past year that it's getting me down.
I don't enjoy my job, it's boring with little job satisfaction, I'm studying a Masters atm with the open university and also volunteering at childline once a week so that keeps me fairly busy but the rest of the time I just sit staring at a tv. The only variation and slice of happiness is my holidays that I go on twice a year with friends, however... I stay home most weekends in order to save for these.
Any advice on how I can get more out of my life? I feel like I'm wasting my youth (I'm 28).

Of course there is more.
You seem to be missing out on seeing friends ?
Are the friends you o on holiday with, local ?
If not, what else do you enjoy doing.
Doing 'stuff' doesn't need to cost a lot of money. You can volunteer with something that involves meeting up with other people.

Do you like getting outside ? Or what do you like ?

You need to get out more in the evening but you don't need to spend lots to have a good time! Go & see bands for example or go to clubs but limit how much you drink to save money.

I would love to be able to do those things but I'm 42 & all my friends have got families.
Seriously make the most of being young!

look up local clubs and activities, there's normally tons going on around the local area that you might be unaware of. That;s what I did.

What kind of things are you interested in?
