What car models look like honda civic / toyota prius?

I quite like the "extended back" look of these cars

Are there any such car makes and models that are good, 2010+ onwards, MANUAL (ideally petrol), not too expensive to tax/insure, etc.?

Seat Leon (different styles but its less SUV looking than the Alteca )

I hired an Alhambra a couple of years back, they are quite well designed and a supposed to be pretty reliable (though Ive never owned one)

How about the Vauxhall Astra or Mazda 3?

I've got a mazda 6 and love it, it's so comfortable to drive and has been the most reliable car I've ever owned.
