Following on from discussion elsewhere re: children picking up on your musical tastes, just wondering how many others have raised a family that now sees music in everything to the extent where no matter what - there's always an appropriate soundtrack to go with it.

Kind of like the memes and vines of sad tragic events that spark up Enya "Who can say where the road goes?" or Simple Plan "HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME?"

My daughter got herself geared up to go and bring in a friend's pony this afternoon who is a sod and never wants to come in from the turnout field. Catching him can be a work of art and she emerged from her room decked out in dark clothing and had smeared war paint on her face, was blasting Assassin's Creed track on her phone then gave a few jabs and shrugged off / loosened up and went "Music for catching that bastard pony... it helps. Let's do this"

She's right too but now I'll never hear that again without imagining hiding out in the field trying to outsmart a pony trying to evade capture.

Photos of my dog in full Freddie Mercury pose and doing a bit of MJ at the beach to help explain myself better.. hopefully.

We can't be alone surely? Hmm

Youngest dog's first ever ride in a car when we brought him home from shit-hole kennels he'd lived his whole life.

Had never stepped foot inside a house or car and never had a bed or blanket to sleep on, had never seen or known toys - nothing but a tiny kennel with a bare concrete floor to sleep on.

We refer to this picture as his Dust in the Wind drive home as he reflected on all that was and what will be... "I close... my.. eyes.. only for a moment and the moment's gone..."

Do you get where I'm coming from with the soundtrack thing or are we just forever alone in this world and just... just dust in the wind? Hmm
