New spray mop from amazon already had a bit of water in -is that normal?

I just bought a new spray mop from amazon but when I put it together it already had a small amount of liquid in which squirted out. Just a small amount - I couldn't actually see it in the bottle. Is this normal?

Could have been tested by quality control or part of the manufacturing process.

I think we may have the same spray mop! Mine had a little liquid in it when it arrived, I assumed was water and part of quality control process as PP said.

Yes. Mine did as well! Funnily enough the handle snapped off mine today after having it about 6 months. So annoyed and trying to think if I can justify buying a new one.

If it's only 6 months old aren't you entitled to a replacement?
