Where can I donate baby clothes?

I have tonnes of baby clothes all very good condition. Have tried to sell with no luck. Mainly ages birth to 18 months. Bit reluctant to just take to charity shop.

Is there such a thing as taking them to a women's shelter or similar?

Yes.

I gave mine to the local Surestart.

Locally, there are a couple of places that are very grateful for baby clothes - I know about it from our local FB groups, so ask on there

Salvation Army. They have clothes collection points in lots of places. They do amazing work.

You might be better posting on a local site. There's at least two organisations in my local area that collect clothes and toys for mothers in need (youngsters without support, women fleeing DV etc) but not much use to you if you're the other end of the country.

Find your local baby bank, they'll loan them out to those in need, who often volunteer for the baby bank in return!

If you’re in London, Little Village are great.

I have given stuff to my midwife before to give to people she thinks need them 😊 I just dropped them in at the gps and she picked them up 😊

I have tried my local sure start but couldn't get through on the phone after trying fir ages. Same with my local women's DV centre.

Have emailed local baby bank but on their website it says they don't need clothes at the moment.

I emailed my local refuge. They had a woman who was pregnant who could use them, so I was able to drop things off at the office for her, but said they don’t have much storage so they can only take things if they have someone in need at the time.

Have now donated them all to my local little bundles ☺️
