Secondary school appeal letter

Hi, We are a little confused by what we need to include in the initial notice of appeal letter. Some say to state all grounds for appeal and include evidence and then some say just to write a quick note saying that you intend to appeal? Has anyone gone through this and can remember what you wrote for that first letter? Thanks

Initial letter just our intention to appeal. You then send in all your evidence afterwards to the Clerk.

CluedoAdiict - So just a short letter informing them of our request to appeal, then they will contact me and I then send the detail? Thanks

Yes that's what I did. You have a dare everything has to be in by.

Good luck with the appeal. It was honestly one of the most stressful experiences of my life and we failed. Our school had 150 appeals and allowed none.

Date not dare.

OK thank you. Yes it is all feeling so stressful. We think we may be able to evidence an argument for all the categories that the appeal panel take into consideration, but know that it can still go either way. Our child's future seems to be in the hands of a few random strangers... Eek!
