Nutty flapjacks might be a good idea.

this Delia Italian chocolate nut cake uses hazelnuts and walnuts and is absolutely delicious

breakfast bars. Toast nuts in oven. Blitz in processor but not completely. Add oats and condensed milk. Mix. Spread in baking tin lined with baking paper bake until golden. Slice into squares. Can also add dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds etc.

Use some instead of pine nuts for pesto. I like a ratio of 60-40 walnuts and almonds. Not roasted though.

Harebellsies · 14/03/2019 21:12

60:40, as in percentage rather than actual number of nuts but of course if you are having the whole street round for pesto then . . . .

imsorryiasked · 14/03/2019 21:15

I still dream of a cheesecake I had years ago which had a base made from nuts.

Granola! Assuming you have oats as well Hmm

QueenArseClangers · 14/03/2019 21:46

Toast some and mix in with salad leaves, sun dried tomatoes, simple vinegarette and a bit of crumbled blue cheese.

Dafspunk · 14/03/2019 21:49

Whizz ‘em up in your food processor to make nut butters.

FlaviaAlbia · 14/03/2019 21:53

Chop them and roast them and make biscuits, using the 3,2,1 method and swapping out some flour for nuts. They're especially good with hazelnuts.

greenelephantscarf · 14/03/2019 21:55

crumble
1/3 flour 1/3 nuts 1/3 sugar, enough butter to crumble on top of fruit of choice.

Kpo58 · 14/03/2019 21:58

No idea, but you would have the happiest hamsters in the world.

Muesli!

AdaColeman · 14/03/2019 22:02

Make caramelised salted nuts or spiced nuts to have with drinks.

If you can grind the almonds use them for frangipani tart, maybe pear or apricot.

JennaRossetti · 14/03/2019 22:04

You can make healthy almond butter (whizz up in a food processor and keep whizzing) and healthy nutella (ditto, adding in cacao powder and maple syrup).

SmallFastPenguin · 14/03/2019 22:08

Mixed nuts.

FiveLittlePigs · 14/03/2019 22:36

Eat them as snacks! :)
