How did you find going back to work after maternity leave?

I’m going back 4 days per week.
DC will be 11 months and will we in nursery & with grand parents.

How did you find going back?

Dreaded it for a month or so before I went back, felt a bit out of step for the first week, love it now, keeps me sane.

As per previous PP Officially started today (KIT day yesterday). Had been dreading it but so far I've really enjoyed it! DS is almost 6 months, DH has taken 5 weeks parental leave before DS starts at nursery. I will be doing 4 days. I am worried about September, when I will be given a normal timetable (teacher) and my workload will increase considerably compared to now. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it though!

Dreaded it before I went back, now love it so much. I’m back full time and I went back with the view of reducing hours if I felt it necessary but it hasn’t been. I’m a single mum also, so the full time wage is really helpful!
