Anyone ever worked for Aldi? Come and tell me what it's like please

I have an assessment interview thing for Aldi on Sunday and was just wondering what they are like to work for mainly wrt hours. I need set hours certain days a week and could do some weekends if I was needed but not all of them because I'm a single mum so have child care issues

Is this something they can give me or is it just a random Rota every week?

Other than that are they a good company to work for?

Also any tips for the assessment would be welcome

Have you tried glassdoor.co.uk? I find that helpful to snoop on the company and see reviews from workers or former workers. They may even have reviews about the specific shop you are interviewing for.

Quick search on there though and most of the cons of working there are to do with hours I'm afraid. One review said they were expected to come in on a day off despite working a 60 hour week.
