Hi, is anyone up?
3 year old dd has woken up being sick. While dh was busy stripping her bed etc I was holding her and she threw up all over me again Sad
Heart breaking to see her sad little face crying her eyes out. I used to be petrified of being sick when I was younger.
Washing machine on...
Dd had now falls to sleep...
Ugh...it may be a long night...

I'm up ! Rocking newborn to sleep downstairs haha.
Nothing worse than when your kids are sick. My daughter (4) had a bug a couple of weeks ago and was throwing up all night and crying. She actually said at one point 'mummy why can't you make it better' and my heart broke. Would take any pain from her in a heartbeat if I could.

We've just come out of this last week. Me, 3 yr old and 2 yr old. It was awful. You have my sympathy. 3 yr old was sick or trying to be every half hour for about 6 hours . I hope she's not as bad as that!

Here's a tip.....towels.....lay them on her bed sheet and pillow. And the floor near her bed. If she's sick over and over you just change the towels each time, rather than the sheets.

Argh I'm up with DD (17) who has just been madly sick all over the landing, didn't get to the bathroom. To be fair to her, she has always been sicky but always makes it to the loo as a rule. She's going to sleep on the sofa as it's easier to clear up, sympathy for all dealing with same.

I’m up, in hospital with my toddler who has been vomiting since 1st March when she had a bout of Norovirus (We all had it) and she’s has been vomiting 10/12 times a day since!
They’re doing lots of tests to try and get to the bottom of it.
I’m 17 weeks pregnant and attempting to sleep on a chair for the 2nd night, they’ve just been in to do obs which woke DD up, she’s now fast asleep and I’m wide awake!

We’ve just finished 2 horrid periods of sickness with my toddler. Tips: towels on the bed and within vomiting distance of the bed and get them using a washing up bowel. Mine got really good at the bowel and saved a lot of washing. Also if they are struggling to keep down water syringe in some diarolyte 5ml at a time. There are some horrid bugs going round at the moment.

We had it last week, it was relentless, poor DD vomited every 20min ish from 11pm to 8am, then a break of 36h and it started again
My tip is to beg/borrow/steal a potette potty. I’m not emetophobic but I don’t do sick well. With the potette, it’s all contained and you just tie and chuck the liners
