I’m after suggested destinations /recommendations for a last minute local mini-break please!
It’s my birthday (a big’un) plus wedding anniversary in a few weeks. I’d like to go away for a few days (Wednesday- Sunday) with DH and toddler DD to celebrate but am a little overwhelmed by google so turning to MN for hints, tips and good ideas!
- DD is 16 months old, super active and not a fan of long car trips so looking somewhere within a 3hr drive of Canterbury
- We’d go self catering/ air bnb rather than hotel
- We’re ‘outdoorsy’ so after nature , hiking etc rather than a city break but would like places to go/ activities suitable for DD (she loves a farm ...)
Any suggestions please? I didn’t grow up in the UK so have no childhood memories to call on...
