Things to do in Brighton?

My OH and I have booked three nights away at the end of the month for my birthday in Brighton. Just asking for any ideas of what to do?

We have a National Trust pass so going to Sheffield Park is a possibility. Or any other NT places near by? We'll also have our (very well behaved) dog with us, who ironically loves pubs Grin so luckily Brighton is dog friendly, but again any recommendations for dog friendly places to eat and shop are welcome.

We're happy to drive outside of Brighton to explore other areas, but I've never been to Brighton before so would like to see as much of it as possible.

As my username suggests, I live in Devon, in a seaside town, so walks on beaches aren't the most important thing for us to do, though I do love visiting lots of different beaches and coast paths etc. We also like geocaching sometimes, so if anyone knows of any good ones in that area, that would be great too.

Thanks Smile

If you like antiques and bric-a-brac go to Snooper's Paradise. There's so much cool and crazy stuff in there it is fantastic.

@origamiunicorn sounds like something we might like! Especially my OH! Thank you Smile

The North Laines where snoopers Paradise is situated are great for a mornings browsing, quirky shops, cafes etc.
Walk along the seafront from The Marina to Ovingdean Beach if the weather is nice.
Ditchling Beacon for a walk and explore Ditchling village.
Devils Dyke and the South Downs.
I lievd in Brighton for years - it get mixed reviews but I always loved the Pavillion and the Museum.

@DevonshireDarling You're welcome 😀 As @Kilash said that whole street is fantastic if you like independent and quirky. 👍

DevonshireDarling · 13/03/2019 17:49

@origamiunicorn @Kilash thank you! This is exactly the sort of things I wanted to hear, as I love quirky and independent shops to explore. I'll be making a note of all of this, and will take a look at the walks you've suggested to @Kilash

The i360 on Brighton seafront is great fun and you get incredible views from up there! Groupon do deals sometimes.
