TTC #2
I have DDaged 5 and would love a sibling for her. I am currently having my 3rd MC (had MC April ‘18, MMC September ‘18) I will be referred for RMC tests once my hormones settle. I have just turned 40 and feel my time to conceive is running out...feeling hopeless

Hi l am so sorry for what is happening to you and your family. I have two children with 3 miscarriages in between, l was 39 when dad arrived. There isn’t a word to discribe what/ how those months felt. I also had tests and was under the care of a very good doctor who told to take aspirin and gave me a hug dosage of folic acid to keep taking for longer than the first 12 weeks.

Everyone thinks since l have my dd l should get over the miscarriages but it hurts, l remember the pain and grief l felt.

There is a miscarriage section on mumsnet under bony and soul l felt l got a lot of support there.

Sending you a big squeeze.

Sorry for the delay, what tests did you have? I have told in 6-8 weeks I should see a gynaecologist and they’ll carry out some tests
