She's asleep, propped up, has had some kiddie cough medicine.

She's well other than the cough (no temp, ate like an ox today, normal energy, although she didn't go to school and did ask to go to bed a bit earlier. Breathing is fine. It's not a 111 jobby. Just want to make her a bit more comfy. She had a coughing fit every half hour last night and we seem to be going to same way tonight.

Cough is dry and not productive.

Vicks on the soles of her feet

Get a cool mist humidifier

Humidifier if you have one.

Some people swear by vicks on the soles of the feet (!)

An extra pillow to keep her head elevated, coughs are usually worst at night due to mucus draining down the back if the throat and pooling, causing you to cough. If you elevate her head a little more it should help. And a beaker of water to sip little but often. Bless her cotton socks having a irritating cough is horrible for adults let alone a kid :( hope shes feeling better soon.

I have a humidifier. Don't have any adult Vicks though (well I can't bloody find it!!). Wonder if the kids version will work?

She managed some kip last night. Me not so much..... poor love must be shattered though.
