Will a phone from Amazon.de work ok?

Sorry it's a stupid question but I'm really not sure.

The phone I'm looking at is over £100 cheaper on Amazon Germany than Amazon.co.uk, but will it work?
As the chargers are all USB now, I'm guessing that shouldn't be an issue. The language will presumably be set to German, is that easy to change? Will there be any other issues though, i.e. do phones have some setting on them that stops them working properly if they're in the wrong place?

I bought a phone on amazon from a greek seller because it was cheaper, works fine. I bought it from UK amazon but the seller was in greece. It asked what language I wanted during the set up phase, I guess if it wasn't brand new you might have to change it, shouldn't be too complicated. The EU USB plug is vaguely useful on holiday.

UK phones (unless they're really old I guess?) work fine in Germany so it should be the same in reverse. I don't think the same is necessarily true in the states/Asia though

Yes, it will be fine, assuming it's a modern phone you'd be fine with one from the US and Asia too.

Thank you, looks like it's the way to go then. I've only bought toys from the german site before.

What about the charger plug? Will it fit UK sockets and is the voltage the same.

Assuming it's a model sold everywhere it will be exactly the same phone.

I bought a new iPhone in Germany. Zero difference and the first question the set up asked was which language I wanted it in.

Yes, I've bought two from there. They come with a European two pin charger.
