DP's snoring!

So I'm up earlier than I need to be again thanks to DP snoring his head off!!

I'm absolutely exhausted and getting the bare minimum of sleep every night. I shout at him to wake up, he stops snoring for a couple of minutes then starts up again.

Sometimes it's really loud and other times it's bearable. But I have no spare room to retreat to and he doesn't think the snoring is a problem! Sad

What can I do?

In the same boat. Was up at 2am with the baby then couldn't sleep at all because of DP I just nudge him and he stops but soon starts again.

@Nutmeg5 it's so frustrating, I'm knackered!

And he doesn't even think it's a problem but I'm at my wits end and want to strangle him Grin

Yep this is my dh. I have to go bed before him so I can get to sleep before he comes up!

He can be snoring and I'll hit him to wake up and he'll go "what was that for I was awake" so you snore when your awake now too?

Silicon earplugs - been using them for years. It won't block 100% but helps alot.

@flowersaremyfave haha sounds like mine too! Grin

I agree with @VictoriaBun. Only way I haven't smothered hubby in his sleep. Although on bad nights I go to our very comfy sofa, and leave him to deal with the toddler when he wakes

Another recommendation for silicone earplugs. I wouldn't have survived the past few months without them. I'm hoping DH's snoring buggers off as quickly as it came.

My DH also didn't think it was a problem.Until I recorded him. And played it back to him when he was asleep one night.Grin

I snored badly but my dh was no disturbed. But I started to wonder if I have sleep apnea so I got mouth guard made by dentist. It brings my lower jaw forward and so keeps airways clear. No more snoring and I sleep better. It took a while to get used to the device though.
