Looking for sone advice please. Ds1 was sent home from.pre school last week with a sticky eye. Took him to the go Wednesday, the next day. Was advised that he didn't need any treatment or to stay off school. Told GP that school insisted on him being off and getting treatment . They gave me some drops, but advised against using them as they often make it worse apparently, and to just keep up with wiping with cooled boiled water 1 week on, it's as bad, with a bloodshot eye, both eyes gunned up in the morning though not too bad in the day. Dr just woke for a wee, wanted eyes wiping, the bloodshot one left a trace of bloody discharge on the pad. Not bright blood, the pinkish trace you get when there's been a bit of blood in the gunk. I couldn't see any blood in his eye or anywhere else.

Is this a worry? Should I take him back to the GP? Work are going to be very arsey if I have to, having had poorly children for 3 months I've had a couple of incidemce of having to leave work/being late etc.
