Most thoughtful Present received with a funny reason.

Yesterday my middle granddaughter gave me a lovely present of a small castle made from a plaster of Paris kit. It's painted yellow and pink. And it held a cacti plant.
As she handed it over she said that when making it I was the only person who likes tatt. (Here's me thinking I've got a stylish home)

My DS gave me a Mother's Day card saying I was "mostly funny" and "mostly clever". Cheers DS (he was 10 so old enough for it not to be a cute error).

Yep, when DD was 10 she wrote in my Mother's Day card 'You try really hard'.

Nothing like damning with faint praise...

My Christmas card from DS had,
'You are so lucky to have me'
He said afterwards he got it mixed up.
