DD (10) is in a class with very few girls. They’ve all paired up and DD is only one without a best friend. She does play with some of them but is excluded from secrets/best friends stuff. Don’t know wether to say anything to mums or just accept that’s the way it is.
Feel so sorry for DD as she’s a lovely, kind and gullible. She isn’t sly/devious in any way.

Talk to the teacher. We had a similar situation in the last year of primary, and the teacher did some quite gentle things in terms of pairing people up and so on which helped. Definitely don't talk to the other parents though.

Talk to the teacher. Had to do it with my DD’s teacher last week for similar reasons. She is only six so sadly this can start young Sad. I tell my DD’s it’s the politics of girlhood.
