Anyone been to Dollywood?

We're going here for honeymoon! Has anyone been? If so, anything we really shouldn't miss?

Going to combine a few days there with a trip to Graceland and a few days at Pioneer woman's lodge in Oaklahoma.

So excited!

When are you going?, we are going in August.

I went back in 2015. We had a good day, I think the weather was a bit iffy. It was expensive to get in, cost about $200 for a family of four. We have travelled quite extensively around North America and I think the deep south was my least favourite part although I still enjoyed our visit.

They like their guns in the deep south and Dollywood sell handbags with concealed gun compartments! Lots of signs about not using your weapons in the park.

The food was nice felt like all home cooked stuff around the park. It was a good day and I'm glad we went.

Yes! Although it's been a few years and it was in November, so felt very Christmassy, with lots of the attractions geared towards that. I liked the train ride, freshly made 'chips' (crisps) and the hot turkey legs, yum! The Smokey mountains are just beautiful, very jealous

Graceland is amazing and very moving. Recommend getting there early to try and beat the crowds.
