UK beach destination at Easter

I'm looking for a bit of advice on a beach destination at Easter please.

The South Coast is just a bit too far for us for a few days but Wales, Norfolk or Suffolk are doable (we're East Midlands based).

Can anyone help with a destination where there are nice beaches and lots to do for 3 days please? I'm fully expecting a lot of rain, but we can go to arcades etc if there is and we don't mind a rainy walk on the beach.

Thanks!

We went to Conway last summer and really enjoyed it. It’s not too far from Llandudno.
If you can come to the north coast Scarborough and Bridlington are popular sea side towns.

Skegness/Great Yarmouth?

I'm not a huge fan of Skegness - I spent many a summer there as a child.

Oh yes, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire are also possible actually!

Scarborough. You can't beat a bracing stroll along the Marine Drive with a fresh sea breeze. Just watch out for big waves sneaking up on the promenade !
