DO you wear a tie? I want to start wearing ties

You don’t really see adult women in ties do you? Save for coppers and stylish lesbians.

Do you wear one? Where does one buy female ties? Can you just wear a man one?

I don't wear a tie. I wore one through school and sixth form but in my opinion they stop looking smart once the straight line is distorted by boobs. They just highlight my boob curve and then dangle down away from my stomach, which looks silly.

Our ties were always unisex though, so I expect you could just wear a men's tie. Some of the more premium shirt companies do lovely coloured ties.

I wore one several years at university along with a mohawk Grin probably not the look your going for though! guys ties are fine, just tie them shorter, I think skinny style ties generally work better on women.

I wear ties to work sometimes. Have had a few comments but I don't care! I just pinch Mr Pacino's. White shirt and pink tie on Friday - I think I rocked it Grin

I had to wear one as uniform when I was waitress in my teenage years. It wasn't even a smart formal place more of a massive pub complex Hungry Horse type hellhole place and having to run around for a 12 hour shift in the sweltering sun wearing a tie was enough to put me off for life.

They felt horrible and restrictive all through school, so v glad I never need to wear one again!

We didn’t have a tie as part of our school uniform and I have no idea how to tie one.
I have 3 sons and sometimes when DH is away and older ones gone I realise I’ve forgotten to get youngest ones tie done. Have had to grab some parents in the car park to do it. Blush
Headmistress of DCs school sometimes wears one. I think you need to keep it quite neutral and ‘classic’ looking to avoid looking too out there in a business environment.

I’m straight up and down like a boy, so no need to worry about boob curve
