25th Wedding Anniversary next year and me & DH want to go somewhere special for our two week holiday.
We usually go on beach holidays to nice hotels in Greek islands or Cyprus or Canaries. We do hire cars on hols and do a little sight seeing but mainly visit beaches to relax and unwind.
We would love to get some recommendations of places to go that are a little more special and our budget could stretch to more long haul. (We've got time to save more).
I am really not a great flyer so wouldn't really want to do a stop over/more than one flight or a small air craft.
Holiday would be very end of August and then into Sept. We like very warm sunny weather (hopefully no rain).
Any ideas would be really welcome as I've never gone futher than a four hour flight.
