Hello
DC's great grandma has passed away and the funeral is in a couple of weeks.
She is the gran of my xh and we haven't seen her since we spent Christmas together 2 years ago, before that it had been 3 years, we have been separated 6 years.
Dc don't know her but I have known her for almost 30 years and would like to send some flowers from the 3 of us.
None of us see or hear from anyone on xh side (apart from xh who we still see weekly, children won't go to his so he comes to ours but that's a whole different thread!!) and haven't since he moved out 6 years ago. The only family member who stayed in contact with us was his gran and she called me lots when he first left and was a great support to me.
Can anybody help me word the card that will go on the floral tribute please?
Xh mum is going to complain whatever is written so I need some advice....do I go with a generic 'Fond memories of a special great grandma from x, x and x'
Or something more personal?
Any advice gratefully received Smile

Write whatever you want to, this is your personal message and it is tough if anyone doesn't like it! She was important to you and if you want to elaborate on that do so. I am sorry for your loss Flowers
