Hi, its my inlaws wedding anniversary coming up, 24 years and I dont know what to get. DH has zero suggestions. We've already overdone alcohol, chocolate, restaurant vouchers. Can anyone help my mental block with any other suggestions?

What’s your budget? Would they enjoy a West End show and posh tea?

I don't think you need to get a big present for a 24th wedding anniversary. Its not like they'll still have the chocolates or flowers from last year. I've never received an anniversary gift from anyone except my husband, have you?

We don't give Anniversary presents unless it was a big one and invited to a party.

If you usually do a gift I would get them a voucher for afternoon tea. Or a bottle of procescco depending on how much you want to spend.

I wouldn't go worry or go anything too 'big' for 24yrs. It's a big on next year. I'd be keeping ideas for that one.
How about a nice cheese board? A small hamper of 'posh' snacks and a DVD?

Check out notonthehightst.com or similar.
Dh got me a fab framed word search with all dc's names in. Have seen family ones with the couples details at the top, then offspring, then dgc. Can include memorable dates etc.

I’ve just had my 24th wedding anniversary and I wouldn’t have expected, and didn’t receive, a gift from anyone other than DH. My DCs certainly wouldn’t even know when it was. Hmm

A nominal gift is fine, I don't think anyone expects gifts unless it's a big one. We are trying to work out what to for ours - we are thinking of an expensive holiday!

@jamhandprints only received gifts from DH. . . And the inlaws! They're gift and card mad!

Thanks for ths suggestions, i think ill go with the Prosecco and save the decent ones for next year Wink
