Anyone ever taken a Bounce class?

If you have, can you tell me about it? I've watched videos on YouTube etc and it looks full of super fit people, of which I am most definitely not! There is a child friendly class near me and since DP takes DS to rugby on a Sunday I figured it would be something I could do with DD. I go to the gym but I am quite overweight. Changing that, but slowly!

Any experiences good or bad? TIA!

Is this the Bounce one on the trampolines without handles? There's some classes near me, and some classes on trampolines with handles. I've tried both. I much prefer the ones without handles. It's a tough workout, yes, but I really wouldn't worry too much about being out of shape or not able to keep up. There's all sorts of ages, shapes and sizes at the classes I've been to. At first I really tried to keep up and keep in time, quickly realised that wasn't always possible, so I just go at my own pace. And if in doubt, just bounce!

Give it a go. You've reminded me to book a class actually. I've been a bit slack of late.

I used to go a lot...its really fun. Lots of ages and sizes went at my gym...there was a weight limit I remember printed on the side of the trampoline but it was pretty high so unless you're extremely obese, it's fine. I felt a little unsteady when I first stood on one but got over that quickly.

Thank you for replies! I am very overweight tbh 😳, but I checked on the website and the weight limit is 125kg which is over 19 stone and I'm well under that. I'm not worried about looking like an idiot, I just want to have fun and get a bit fitter in the process!

I find it hard to get the motivation to go to the gym 3 times a week so I thought if I take one of these classes once, then I only have to go the gym twice!

Go for it! I always felt great after a class.

@formerbabe thank you, I have bitten the bullet and booked! My best friend is coming with me, which is good for me as it means I can't back out at the last minute! Hoping to make this a permanent thing if I get on okay as it's perfect timing on a Sunday, just need to not self sabotage with cake afterwards. Grin
