My rabbits have destroyed my garden....how to fix.

I have two pet rabbits - they live in their hutch in the garden but I let them out every day to run around as they wish.

However..... they have destroyed the garden. I have no flowers or plants whatsoever as they have eaten them. They nibble through the fences. The grass is bald and muddy. I have had to put old metal fire guards on the soil to stop them digging beneath and escaping. It looks absolutely horrendous and depresses me every time I look out of the window.

Short of locking them in every day (which I don’t want to do), how can I make the garden nice again?

You don't have to lock them in, you can get them a huge run with mesh at the bottom to stop them digging out. Then fix the garden.

If you want to spend time with them outdoors use aviary panels, you can make it big enough to put a bench in. It would be safer for them too, we have sparrowhawks here and they take small creatures, and foxes.
