Choice of wedding outfit

We have been invited to a family wedding. I am the second wife of DH. My mother in law informed me the other day that she will be wearing the outfit she wore to DH's first wedding 20 years ago. I am not hugely bothered just find it a bit strange. Also lots of DH's family will have seen the outfit at the first wedding when he married first wife. WWYD?

I don't plan to say anything but is this odd?

People won't remember and if she draws attention to her choice she'll look like she's being a bit of a cow. Smile, ignore but don't forget.

My MIL did exactly this! I didn't really care, my dh didn't either. My MIL hates shopping so just wore one of her smart outfits. Not sure why she felt the need to tell me tbh Hmm

I don't think it's odd to do but very odd to tell you about it. Chances are no one will notice so if she just kept quiet about it, it won't become an issue.
