I need to paint mine but don't know what colour to go with I have tried a few tester pots and just can't decide what I want/like. I don't really want grey it is currently grey and I am all greyed out.

I have wallpaper up the stairs which is pale blue/grey with a kind of climbing rose up it with roses and birds. Walls that aren’t papered are pale pink washable emulsion. Paper was hideously expensive but I love it.

I love pink but don't know if I am brave enough! I have 2 sets of stairs as I live in a town house, not sure if that is relevant.

Still channeling the 90s with a dado rail, but I quite like it as it splits up a long, narrow space. Lower half is a sage green which I chose. Top half is the original apple white type colour. It was a temporary facelift to brighten up the core of the house for a few years until we're ready to tackle it properly, but I'm willing to defy fashion on the dado rail Grin

Previous hallway was completely rejuvinated with a creamy Light and Space paint. It had previously had a pale but dingy original creamy 80s wall paper with pale grey and blue flecks.

Is it a bright space that can take stronger colours, or a dull space that needs to maximise light and warmth?

A very light sky blue.

It's quite a dark area so that colour has really helped lift it.

Trade magnolia. I'd love to do it white and have my photos set in black frames. But the ceilings are so high up the staircase I cannot safely paint it and I'm not. paying someone hundreds. So I buy the exact same shade, and aint as high as I can reach with a ladder and pole with a roller on hoping no one ever looks up. 😂

I would really love a nice white, grey is in right now but a white hall with plain framed photos and no clutter would be lovely.

My friend has done hers in a pink glitter paint. Very nice. As long as she likes it. Mines a light lilac

Ours is a rental but we refreshed the dirty cream to a crisp bright white, very nice. Carpet is a soft beige.
We have nice bright prints and canvases on the wall, and an upcycled map-decoupaged bookshelf in the entryway.
