Came downstairs to find my housemate drying clothes like this. Hmm When I said it's not safe he laughed at me.

AIBU or is he a bellend?

Unless the wire is damaged, I don't see the problem, Tbh. Sorry!

Easterbunnyiscomingsoon · 09/03/2019 14:37

The weight of the item will loosen the wiring and make a fire hazzard imo.

MissConductUS · 09/03/2019 14:37

I think it's unorthodox but fairly safe, given that the item of clothing probably only weighs a few ounces.

Birdie6 · 09/03/2019 14:38

The garment looks light. It's safe .

SamBaileys · 09/03/2019 14:40

Missing the point I realise but that will never dry clothes will it?

madeyemoodysmum · 09/03/2019 14:40

He is a bellend

Just to add, the radiator is below not sure if you can see from the crop - when we dry clothes on the radiators the water evaporates all up the wall, so I avoid that one because of the socket.

It's just freaking me out the way wet clothes are on the wire haha. But if it's safe then fine, I won't die by underwear today. :)

Ahhh I didn't see the radiator!

Rottencooking · 09/03/2019 14:54

Yeah sorry I cropped it too much trying to spare showing his entire collection of pants Grin
