Just had a text from Amazon saying my iPad cover couldn't be delivered.

I haven't ordered one I don't even have an iPad!

Is this a wrong number? Or has someone assumed because I'm home a lot I'll accept their delivery?

Go into your amazon account and look at your orders. That will show if there has been an order placed on your account.

I'm not sure if a fake text would appear in the same convo but I would change Amazon password to be safe.

It does look very genuine but I wouldn’t click it. Scammers can mask their numbers to look the same. I would log into your amazon account and look at the orders. It could be that someone has ordered something on your account?

The last thing I ordered was on Christmas Eve. except for a few in app purchases

You could email Amazon and tell them I suppose.

Some scammers can indeed make the scam text follow on from authentic texts from companies, including banks, so don't take that as a sign either way. Very high tech these days

I would check with your bank. My dh had 1000s taken from his bank account and it started with very small transactions as they checked if he would notice.
