Whatsapp - when I receive "one" message it always shows Ive got 2 or 3 messages?

So just now friend sebd a message it buzzes and shows 3. Open it but its one message!

I suspect you have some missed WhatsApp calls as well. If you look towards the top of the app you can switch tabs between messages and calls. Have a look there.

I think it's a glitch. Happens to me too sometimes.

Nope nothing unread...

Pictures can count separately despite being part of one message.
