What's everyone up to today?

I'm not at work until 12 today so am currently lounging about in my pj's, drinking coffee. Both girls are still sleeping!

They'll spend the afternoon with their dad while I'm at work. Only dd2 has homework so will get him to help with that since it's raining & windy so I doubt they'll go far.

When I get in, I'll prep Hunter's chicken for tea and drink wine! Might even run myself a bubble bath.

Prepped Kashmiri Butter Chicken for dinner.
Had a token vacuum round whilst DP is picking up his DC.
Currently sat here with a glass of wine before chaos ensues in about an hour & watching Real Housewives of Orange County.

Started painting the hallway. I’ve been putting it off for weeks now, so I’m feeling better about starting it. I’m having a coffee break now before I carry on. If I get the chance I’ll do the bathroom this weekend too

It's 10:30pm here .... waiting for 11:30 to roll around so I can pick up DD from an 18th birthday party. Trying to stay awake is tricky!

Kids have had dance this morning, I got on with some housework whilst hubby taxied them around. Was going to do some sewing this afternoon, but just seen an enormous headlouse meander across the youngests head, so it looks like I'm off to denit her instead.

Ive been sent to bed with an homemade latte and a few cookies dh has brought me my favourite movie and im on instruction to relax this afternoon. I struggle with the concept of doing nothing on a Saturday afternoon but oh its so cosy and the dog is asleep next to me its lovely.

Going on holiday soon so browsing a few web pages for clothes.

I need to go and chop some wood but I keep going outside to do it, wandering around for ten minutes looking at plants and then come back in because I’m cold 😂

Stuck in hospital 50 miles from home. DH and DC visited earlier so just laid here watching Netflix.

First thing I went to put my horse and her friend in the field, mucked out the stable etc. Owner of other horse will get them both in a bit later on.

Went home and went for a long walk with husband and dogs.

Got a chippy lunch. With husband and daughter.

Went shopping with daughter for work clothes for her.

About to go back to stables with daughter. She’ll ride my horse and I will video and take photos.

Then it will be bottle of fizz for me and daughter, husband will cook dinner and we will watch Saturday night TV.

Got back from a night shift at 8.30. Went to sleep at 9.30. Woke up at 1.00 and saw my mum. I am about to have a nap and will have a takeaway and then work on my essay this evening with a glass of gin.

out for breakfast with dp first thing then running my charity shop (im manager) 10-4 home for a quick drink and sandwich then the company me and my dp run doing dog walking and pet care we are dog sitting 6.30 til midnight. used to be 2 dogs 1 sadly died and the other wont be left on his own and the owners are going for a family meal so we are keeping the dog happy calm and company. home for bed then as we have early start in morning going to crufts

@sleepalldays how did your interview go??

I've been in ten minutes, was busier today so I worked an extra two hours! The girls dad has been and bought wine so I have just poured a glass while the cooker warms up .

Dd1 is in bed watching Youtube, dd2 has gone to Nanna's for a sleepover for the first time in forever so it'll be peaceful tonight.

I got up handy, my older DC are at their Dad's this weekend and DP is at work until 7pm so it was just me and the baby (10 weeks old) today.

We walked into town to do the birthday present shopping for DD2 who is ten on Wednesday, very successfully, despite the horrible cold wind. I did a bit of housework and watched quite a lot of Netflix while the baby one breastfed and snoozed. I've just finished re-negotiating my phone contract (25x more data for the same price!) and I'm going to celebrate that with a little Irish coffee while I make the dinner and do some baking.

When DP gets home we will watch a bit of TV, eat, chat and play with the baby until bedtime.

Very lazy day today as knackered after a busy week in work. Stayed in bed most of the morning, got up to watch the rugby and read, dh cooking mince and pasta for dinner. I have done nothing all day!

bigchris Thank you 😊 it was just fantastic from start to finish and the weather was kind to us too.
I'm on my way back home as I no longer live in Blackpool and I'm exhausted but feeling euphoric!
