What are other people's experiences of this?

Whenever I have taken the contraceptive pill previously, I've always been prescribed microgynon. I've never had any issues on it whatsoever - certainly none of the pill side effects I read about.

I was recently prescribed Zelleta, as I am now over 40. If I'm reading the instructions correctly, there is no break week. Is that right? I'm supposed to just run on from one pack to another without a break?

I've been on it for 4 weeks now. The first 3 weeks were fine but I started spotting about a week ago and now I'm bleeding properly.

I've not got any pain, but it is like a constant light period.

Any advice?

My situation is the exact same as yours. Taken off microgynon and out on zelleta.

It's worked out really well for me as I don't have periods at all with it and that suits me just fine.

That would suit me just fine too! Grin But now I have this constant bleed which, because it isn't a period, has no predictable end in sight.

It's not 'bad' but, at the same time, it's getting worse.

I just wondered if anyone else had experienced the bleeding and how long it is likely to last. Thanks
