Dust or vacuum first ?

I’ve always dusted first.
In times of long no dusting there can be clumps of dust that I push onto the floor & then vacuum,’
Just read though that I’m doing it the wrong round ???

I dust first too. Who says it's wrong?

I always dust first, otherwise surely you are just spreading dust onto clean floors?

Livedandlearned · 08/03/2019 20:54

Surely if it was the other way round you'd be hoovering twice.

I'm with you, dust first.

I suspect the vacuum first people don't let their houses get dusty, unlike you & me Wink

A. Dust first, then vacuum. Dust, allergens, and other particles are constantly floating through a home's air. To stop your sneezing, wipe your surfaces first using a damp cloth or a microfiber duster, which will trap the dust.

Dust first then the hoover gets any dispersed stuff.

I’ll still dust first
