Out of date yoghurt?

OddCat · 08/03/2019 19:51

I've just eaten half a large pot of yoghurt and started to find hard lumps in it, looked at the best by date and it says 17 Aug Shock .
Please tell me that it's August this year and not last year!

And , yes I should clear my fridge out more often.

Are you sure it wasn't August 2017...? Wink

OddCat · 08/03/2019 19:53

It doesn't say the year!

If it didn't taste like toe jam it'll probably be okay.

OddCat · 08/03/2019 19:58

It's Greek yoghurt so tastes a bit tangy however old it was Grin

Not ideal but I'm sure you'll be ok. I often eat yogurts a few months out of date.

OddCat · 08/03/2019 20:10

I've eaten some bread to soak it up, just in case!

When did you buy the yoghurt?

OddCat · 08/03/2019 22:43

I definitely bought some last
Sunday but can't remember how many pots , I also can't remember if there were any pots already in the fridge when I put last Sunday's shopping away.
