Can she go to school with gastritis?

We took DD to hospital this morning with stomach pain and they have diagnosed her with gastritis and is on antibiotics for 10 days. She has been asleep all day and doesn't feel well currently.

What's the likelihood of her feeling fine on Monday? They didn't really say anything about how she will feel, just that she needs the antibiotics for 10 days. Also, if she does feel fine, can she just go in? I've never had it, so not sure when she will feel better. Thanks!

should be ok, my dd has had gastritis for 2 months now.
try and avoid spicy or acid foods, fizzy drinks and caffeine
Gastritis just means inflammation of the gut

has she been given any proton inhibitors to reduce stomach acid (lanzaprole) whilst she recovers ?

Yes, she has omeprazole, if that's the same sort of thing?

Ah, I wasn't sure. She has been feeling really rough and is constantly feeling sick (has sick bowl with her) and is just drifting in and out of sleep, not wanting food, etc. I assume these symptoms will go away soon?
