Swim aid for 1yo?

My 1yo has grown out of his swim seat but most of the other swim aids seem to be labelled as only suitable for 2+. What would you recommend for the 1-2yo age bracket? A bigger swim seat? Or would something like armbands be better?

Mine loved swim fins as soon as they wanted to be out of my arms (But they are all part fish) the straps were too long for my narrower kids which was a bit of a pain

float jackets are great, you can remove floats as they get more confident. The small size is suitable for 1-3 years.

I was going to say a float jacket like a PP. Jo jo maman Bebe and mothercare also do swimsuits which contain floats which both my DD's have which are removable when you wash them
