I had an ectopic pregnancy December 2018 resulting the loss of my left tube just don’t know when to start trying again and will it be harder to conceive

Just my own experience - I had an ectopic which resulted in the loss of a tube too. Conceived again 3 months later and had a perfectly normal pregnancy. I had to have an early scan at about 5 weeks (from memory) to make sure it wasn’t another ectopic but after that, I was in the same schedule of scans etc as any other pregnancy.

Ruptured ectopic survivor here. I was very poorly and very nearly didn't survive.
Very lucky to conceive again, easily. In fact, forgot to use a condom ONCE and boom - baby number 3. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone but just giving you a positive story.

I lost a tube and ovary and started ttc about three months later. I can’t remember if I was advised to wait that time or if it was just through fear.
As it was I conceived that month. Got scanned at 5 weeks to check it was in the right place.
Good luck Flowers

I should add I was over 2 years ttc prior to that (it was my first pregnancy), after that I had no issues conceiving. Ironically having half the equipment seemed to do the trick Confused
