I am always getting bitten, daily, could be anywhere on my body. DH and DC never have them, just me. They are tiny and very itchy. I just don’t understand what it could be!

Bed bugs? Check the seams and buttons of your mattress for little black specks.

LuckyAmy1986 · 08/03/2019 12:37

Oops just realised thread says buying obviously mean biting!

Would DH not have the bites too though? I will have a look

Is it always in different places? I can react to elastic like that. Not always. Just sometimes.

showmethegin · 08/03/2019 12:41

Bit of a departure but are you sure they are bites? I have sensitive skin and I get an itchy rash sometimes that looks like this; it was fabric softener in the end!

nrpmum · 08/03/2019 12:42

That is not a bed bug bite, but no idea!

LuckyAmy1986 · 08/03/2019 12:42

Yes always different places, normally chest, thighs and stomach though.
@showmethegin I have been wondering this!!!

They seem to come on throughout the day as well. So I wouldn’t wake up with a ‘bite’ if that’s what it is, but around mid morning or in the afternoon I’ll notice it.

I use Co-op non bio. powder. Was in Tesco recently so picked up theirs. Waistband, bra band, I came out with a rash. Anything next to my skin came up with a rash.

flumpybear · 08/03/2019 12:47

Take antihistamine in case it's just a reaction?!

runoutofnamechanges · 08/03/2019 12:52

Do you have pets? They could be flea bites (they look like that). Just because you haven't seen bites on your DH and DC doesn't mean they haven't been bitten. The reaction varies between people. They may not have noticed. Plus, if you have a stronger reaction and have scratched the bites, the more you scratch, the worse you make it!

Or it could be that the infestation is quite localised eg you tend to sit on the seat where a pet sleeps. Or you wear different clothes that make it easier for you to get bitten eg your DH wears his shirt tucked in, you don't, so the fleas can bite you.

LuckyAmy1986 · 08/03/2019 12:55

No, no pets! But you are right in that I do scratch them and they get even more itchy. I do have my one seat where I sit and no one else does, but it’s a leather sofa so don’t think anything too evil could be lurking there (or am I wrong?!)

Thanks for the advice re washing powder, I hadn’t thought it could be something like that

Looks like atopic eczema. I get that, but with more bumps. Itchy itchy itchy.
