How's your evening going?

I just ran an entirely cold bath without realising whilst trying to multitask and hoover🤦🏻‍♀️

Had the worst nausea for the past few weeks and it hit me hard after dinner today, my partner and I think I may be pregnant. I'm on the pill but usually have period pain by now (1 day before period is due) and I've been nauseas for a few weeks plus painful nipples.

We weren't trying (actively preventing by using the pill!) and I'm definitely not ready for a baby rn but I wouldn't get an abortion so we'll see. I've ordered some cheap tests off amazon arriving on Monday.

How about you?

Hope you get the result you're after.
I had to have our hamster put down about 2 hours ago, so a fairly shit evening here....

sleepalldays · 07/03/2019 22:08

One of my kids has just thrown up. I have a back to back work diary tomorrow that I’m now going to have to cancel.

DS has a cold and isn’t settling properly so we’re all in bed watching cartoons. Trying to get him off to sleep because I’m desperate to go to sleep myself

Crunchymum · 07/03/2019 22:13

You have a lot of self restraint OP. I'd have been out for a test by now (the supermarkets all see realtively cheap ones!)

Sorry about your hamster @LoudestRoar

I've just done my second day back at work after a 13m ML with our 3rd child. I'm tired and wired.

pumpkinpie01 · 07/03/2019 22:15

Sounds like your pregnant to me ! Everything will work out. I have my nephew and niece staying so we have played games and they are now chatting with my dd and laughing hysterically about god knows what, love to hear kids laughing

LoudestRoar · 07/03/2019 22:17

sleepalldays They are lovely pets.
He had a tumor, which hadn't bothered him much, and vet said it was ok to leave him when I took him a month ago.
However, tonight I noticed it bleeding, and he had been biting it. Vet said it was best to call it a day.

Singlenotsingle · 07/03/2019 22:21

Dog's been going crazy because visitors came in our back gate. I've been watching Celebrity Apprentice - it was great fun (when I could hear it, over the noise of the barky dog).

nombrecambio · 07/03/2019 22:21

House full of croup therefore a bed full of toddlers and a table armed with calpol, vicks, ibuprofen, and tea!

I wasn't ready for kids with our first but he's bloody perfect. Good luck.

Mrsoh39 · 07/03/2019 22:23

Have had a row with eldest ds because I wouldn't let him borrow a charger for his phone, and the reason being is, we have let him borrow before and he's lost them, he's 22 old enough to know better you would think, but he doesn't like the word no and I'm starting to put my foot down with him and he doesn't like it.

pumpkinpie01 · 07/03/2019 22:29

@Mrsoh39 I think we have the same son ! Did u go on and on about how it wasn’t his fault he had lost it ?

pumpkinpie01 · 07/03/2019 22:30

Did he go on I mean not you !

Mrsoh39 · 07/03/2019 22:35

No he didn't but I got the you don't like me etc, he doesn't live at home so there is no way he's taking our only charger out of the house, and I got the why don't you trust me, well son do where do you want me to start Hmm

Singlenotsingle · 07/03/2019 22:39

He could buy his own, surely? They're cheap as chips.

breakthepattern · 07/03/2019 22:42

Sorry for all the crappy evenings !

We just watched motherfatherson and it was super.
Richard gere still a huge dish.

So if you're not off to bed, I recommend it as a salve for your crappy evenings...

nombrecambio · 07/03/2019 22:45

Richard Gere was the star of a tinned tuna fish advert years ago in the Middle East... I have to disagree about him being a dish!

Harrykanesrightsock · 07/03/2019 22:46

Half day at work and Dd2 was pleasant for a change this afternoon. DH has man flu and I feel I’m getting it too. I’ve ate little but have indigestion.

You have some restraint. I would not be able to resist a test tomorrow.

Racheyg · 07/03/2019 22:50

Evening was good. I organised a talk about women and being inspired for work. Listening to the speaker made me realise I devalue myself and I need to get a job in a different field. And actually enjoy work.

Hiddenaspie1973 · 07/03/2019 22:55

Got drenched cycling home from work after a hugely stressful day. It was so bad I had a cider at 3.30.
Burned the spag bol. Unusual. Luckily still tasted lush.
Food shop.
Watching 80s music tv.great.
No work for 4 days 😁

sleepalldays · 08/03/2019 01:01

@Crunchymum I found a pack of 5 (good reviews too!) for £2 with free postage so went with that instead of forking out a tenner for a clear blue Grin

I'm sorry you're so tired, I hope you're asleep now! Thanks

sleepalldays · 08/03/2019 01:03

@Hiddenaspie1973 Hey at least you've got 4 days to recover from the burnt meal and drenching Wink

We all have crap days! You've got to laugh sometimes, I once got drenched by a car driving past in the rain whilst I was carrying my food shop home! Black mud water all over me!Grin

sleepalldays · 08/03/2019 01:04

sleepalldays · 08/03/2019 01:06

@nombrecambio I don't know if I'd be able to handle that! I guess you have to though.. thank you, I really don't know what I want the result to be tbh. I'm only 20.

sleepalldays · 08/03/2019 01:07
