Is it worth me doing 6/1 as opposed to 5/2?

I'm not technically overweight but would like to lose half a stone. I know that fasting 2 days a week is unsustainable for me but could cope with 1 day a week. Is it worth me doing this?

You might want to try to reduce the window of when you eat as you don't have much to loose. I.e. 8/16, 10/14...

The thing is whatever I do needs to be something I can stick to for life and I can't see me doing that with 16/8 etc

I don't think you'll lose much on 6/1 but it will limit what you put on.

In his latest book btw Michael Mosley says the research allows up to 800 calories on a fast day which is far more manageable than 500.

Really Miss? So that would be 2 fast days but with 800 calories?! That sounds more manageable

His latest book is the fast 800 when you have two weeks of just 800 calories per day and then switch to that 2 days per week. It's quite bearable but worth reading the book!

Is it intended for people who are overweight though? Not being rude I'm just very weary of not messing up my metabolism. I'm 5ft7 and weigh 10 stone so don't have a lot to lose
