Are qualifications with Women's Aid worth it?

I am currently in a support role but thinking to move specifically across to domestic violence. Don't have any specific qualifications in this field, have my name down for some voluntary positions but just wondering if the qualifications that are available through Women's Aid are worth it? They claim they are recognized and accredited but not by who. The online certificate course is nearly £900 so not exactly cheap.

Any advice in this area greatly appreciated.

I hadn't realised they did qualifications, so every day's a school day. Hopefully this will bump for someone in the know.

Thanks Spongebob. They do a variety of courses, right up to diploma level.

Huh, that is news to me too. Are they associated with any university?

You're better off doing an open university course as it's more universally recognised.

IStill it doesn't state by whom they are accredited.

I'll contact them for more details but would like to know if they are worth it or not.

Moorfields the WA courses are specifically related to DV.
