Going to Cheltenham next week advice pl

Never been to the races before but have had last minute invite toCheltenham next Thursday in the Tattersalls stand. I have no idea what this stand is like and the website assumes some prior knowledge. Advice please on what to wear, do we take food? Do I study the form (don’t even know what that means)

You can’t take your own food into Cheltenham.

Don’t wear dressy it’s on the brow of a hill and gets insufferably cold. Smart jeans and a smart coat are fine.

Irish trained horses tend to do well there.
